Bio:

Sam was born and raised in Fleet, England. He is a passionate soccer player and exercise enthusiast. Sam moved to the US in 2007 to pursue a soccer scholarship and to further his education. He began at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) and transferred after two years to Midwestern State University (MSU). Sam has studied exercise physiology since graduating high school and recently graduated with a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology (Fall 2013).

As an NCAA Soccer Athlete he earned all-region accolades in his freshmen and sophomore year, and 1st team all-conference, as well as progressing to the Final Four in his Junior year. Sam captained the team in his senior year at MSU.

Sam assisted and taught clinical exercise, biomechanics and strength & conditioning as a graduate assistant for the exercise physiology department at Midwestern State University. Sam was an intern for APEC and also has a year of strength and conditioning experience with collegiate athletes at Midwestern State University.

 

Credentials/Certifications:

  • MS in Exercise Physiology
  • BS in Exercise Physiology, with a minor in Biology
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist – National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
  • Sports Performance Coach (United States of America Weightlifting (USAW)
